This training is for you!
Found within this training is the FUNCTIONALITYoga™ methodology, designed exclusively by Sandy Raper. This method and approach was developed after almost two decades of success and sustainability Sandy has cultivated as a yoga teacher, understanding the body and how to effectively lead others through the yoga practice safely from a strong adaptive perspective.
The FUNCTIONALITYoga™ approach equips teachers with a specific, solid structure and confident skillset embued with anatomy and alignment knowledge, powerful language that leads, supports, and empowers others, and the understanding of how to read, adapt and teach a practice experience that meets the needs of the student right in front of them.
Layered-learning approach to offer a comprehensive 200-hour yoga teacher training experience.
This program is designed to support and equip trainees with the teaching tools required to equip and develop confidence in leading others through the practice safely and effectively.
This course supports trainees with a strong foundational knowledge to cultivate a personal practice that supports the teaching of others through self-application of techniques, personal practice, and service through sharing the practice with others.
Sandy continually refines her teacher training program to reflect an ongoing mindset of growth, research, and development within the role of being and becoming a yoga teacher. Sandy has learned how to pivot and adapt to a variety of teaching environments, including the virtual realm, and this knowledge will be shared to support you in creating a teaching career after the training.
If you are ready to dive deep into the study of your personal practice and connect with others along this pathway of knowledge and understanding, then this training is for you! Yoga Teacher Training is a wonderful opportunity to pursue this deep study. The pre-requisite is not that you become a yoga teacher. The requirement is the willingness to begin to know the practice more fully for yourself. It is your decision as to whether you want to pursue teaching after the training and if you do I'll be right there to support you along the way.
